Summary: Considering the current situation, many companies will no longer be able to meet their liabilities on time and in full. The webinar is intended to show ways that are open to companies and individuals in the event of such a crisis and also how to properly address the rights of creditors. What happens to the branch office in Asia if the European Mother becomes insolvent, or vice versa? What is the liability of the local manager? Are work-employment claims secured in insolvency? What rights do I have as a creditor to an insolvent company?
About the speaker: Dr.Theodor Strohal was a lawyer in Vienna for 30 years with one of his specializations being insolvency law. In more than 100 cases, he worked as judiciary manager appointed by the Vienna Commercial Court as well as a debtors representative. Since his retirement, he has been involved in international insolvency law, cross-border bankruptcies and asset protection, gives seminars and lectures on it and teaches at a university in Dubai, among others. He owns law firms in the UAE, Singapore and Myanmar, and is a partner in a consultancy in Thailand. Co-operations exist with insolvency law firms in Austria and Germany.
